The Department of Library, in association with the Orators Club, Department of English and the Department of BCA, organized the “Expanding Horizons - 3” program to provide students with valuable career guidance and broaden their professional outlook.

The highlight of the event was the inspiring session delivered by Ms. Sowmya, Social Media Entrepreneur and ph.d scholar, who shared insights on emerging career opportunities, skill development, industry expectations, and the importance of continuous learning. She encouraged students to strengthen both technical and communication skills to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

Students actively participated in the interactive session, clarifying their doubts about higher education, communication-based professions, and entrepreneurship.

The Department of Library, in association with the Orators Club, the Department of English (Shift 2), and the Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, organised “Expanding Horizon 2” on 19th February 2026 at the Library Reading Hall. The Chief Guest, Mr. Yona D, delivered an informative speech on career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and various AI certification courses.

He also guided students on skill development, internships, and the effective use of social media for professional growth and networking. The session was interactive and helped students gain clarity about their future career paths.

The program was informative, inspiring, and beneficial for all participants.

The Department of Library, in association with the Orators Club, Department of English, and UG, PG & Research Department of Commerce, organised a career guidance program titled “Expanding Horizons” on 24th January 2026 at the Library Reading Hall.

The program featured Ms. Poorani P, Consultant, JMAN Group, as the Chief Guest. She delivered an insightful session on career planning, industry expectations, and the importance of communication skills and continuous learning. The interactive session motivated students to explore diverse career opportunities and prepare themselves for future professional challenges. The program was informative, engaging, and highly beneficial for the students.
