The Department of English, in association with the Department of Library, organized a Speakathon - An opinion sharing and skill building session on 29.09.2025 for students to promote effective communication, critical thinking, and stage presence among participants. The Department of Library organized a Library visit to Anna Centenary Library, Kotturpuram on 20.09.2025 for our students to encourage the habit of reading and to help them explore the vast resources available.

The Department of English, in association with the Department of Library, organized a Newspaper Reading Workshop and Roundtable session on 19.09.2025 for students to promote the habit of regular newspaper reading and to develop language and critical thinking skills.

The workshop highlighted the importance of newspapers in improving vocabulary, comprehension, and awareness of current issues. 

The interactive session included reading practice, group discussions, and sharing viewpoints on selected articles. Students actively participated and gained insights into how newspapers can enhance both academic learning and communication skills.
